Welcome to the inner workings of my mind.

            The journey you are taking though my art work is not only the way I work to put the bread on my metaphorical table, but it is a personal look into how I view the world and how the world views me. When starting out as an artist I never knew that being a film maker and media artist is what I would be spending every day doing. I grew up with parents who had only the best intentions in mind, but in a series of strict catholic schools with peers and teachers that would say different. In school I was kid that  was a very obscure shaped peg trying to be shoved in a perfectly circular hole, and the only way to fit me in was to shave off a lot of edges. Being brought up in a life style for where every kid and person fit into the same slot for over a decade its difficult to find any creative out look. But over the last couple years I have finally found the passion a special person like me was looking for. With lack of support of my peers, I did everything I could to work with cameras. Making movies for class instead of papers or taking all the photographs on our family trips. The boy that had no dreams ambitions or any motivation to even get up in the morning, finally has found his path.

            Years of mental and emotional repression has built up a new outlook on life. The life of a person who doesn't go day by day just taking as it comes and not expecting any thing new. I interpret every thing I see and experience in life. All of the things I have thought about all the people I have talked to who are all part of this elaborate multi layered human condition. Why do we act this way as a human being? Why as a society do we fell we have to be this way?  These are just a few of the many questions you find asking yourself when observing and watching my conceptual artwork. My life is a direct reflection of the art I produce, and it is one of my job as an artist to make the viewer aware of these things going on in the life around you as well, making sure you don't find yourself being just another cog in the machine. I produce a unique style of work that portrays realistic concepts in a very manipulative ascetic. I do this to show you how all though these ideas are part of our lives and society it is easy to see that there is so much more to life that you may not see. A beautiful side that goes completely missed day by day. And hopefully after reading this you too will find that new out look on life. To diagnose things and understand that the human mind does every day with out even thinking. Photographs and films are both things that take place in the realm of reality, but my artwork will show you that though my eye there is a whole other world to be seen.
